question... eactly how lite is the lite version? cause for some reason I just installed it to se how much of a diff it was with older versions but for some reason either my game wont launch the mod or most of the games is still vanilla im using the gog version odd thingis that if I use the exe of the older version it loads 0.95 without a hitch but if I use the provided exe for the lite versions it seems to load the vanilla game with no trace of the mod whatsoever any idea? never mind solved my own stupidity... my computer thought it was a good idea to troll me and add a dash to the name of the folder lol

Quick question... do the munificents and providence are implemented in the current build? reason I ask is cause I finally finished a GC playing as rebels and the zann basically just kept building venators valiants and their artillery frigates never saw the kandossi or keldabe or anything else for that matter and the only lucrehulks I saw were the ones above hypori and the maw

Ok this might be too much to ask but its worth the try... do you guys think you could return or revamp the space stations system... I get why theres only 1 model for them since making 5 dif ones for every tier is time consuming but its kind of odd that every station regardless if its imp/rebel/zann/pirates are exactly the same if you guys could diff them from each other apart from the logo would be cool also is there a way to limit the titans capability to cloak? for some reason in my campaign the empire keeps spamming them and its anoying how they cloak constantly wich drag space battles quite a lot... besides that great work you managed to make this game way better than petroglyph ever could

what I usually do is backup my saves... I save after every 2 or 3 important battles and without closing the game I go window mode and copy the entire save folder into a backup quite a hassle I know but when I do encounter a corrupt save file I just swap folders and it works again and I only loose a couple of battles... a good trade off I think considering this is the best looking mod for this game If they expand their visuals and remodeling to ground battles it would be quite a feat... thrawns revenge is good for their campaigns but looks quite old when compared with this one... just my honest opinion

no I meant every file one by one inside each patch for example patch 6 had resource/entity/vehicle/modern/tank/ussr-sng/t-72b.pak... you copy and paste that t-72b.pak file o its respecting folder that way you make sure everything is overwriten correctly, its tedious I know and it works however your crashing problems seems to relate to fix number one wich its stated in the faq above however make sure that you uzip that file before placing it in the folder described cause the game cant recognize rar files only pak files

because probably you didnt patch it correctly if this is the oly mod active at the moment is best to unzip the patches and replace the files one by one with the ones on the patches that way you should be able to use the mod

It is possible that you have a differet version, if I remember correctly most people used cold war 1.5.6 others 1.5.7 and while they seem to be practically the same some pattern files for the guns were teaked, also there was another version here in moddb thay was called cold war realism wich had every single gun variable chaged to make it more realistic (I never tried that one) what I did like over this one was the atgm locking mechanic

sadly most of the assets of the original mod (cold war mod) while impressive, it was heavily biassed towards russian equipment (considering the developers where russian, its no surprise) wich explains why some of the russian weapons and tanks seem so overpowered compared to their Nato counterparts dont know if copz would chage that (its a lot of work) but to be fair if they gave atgm their real values we would most probably never see tank engagements in-game

nop is just for as 1 however assault squad 2 uses the red rising mod wich is somewhat similar

maybe he means the planes... cold war mod had the f22 and f35 and the mq9 reaper at the proper scale since in this is way smaller on the us/nato side and the an-12, il-76 and su-50 on russia side

while im not the author of this mod wich by the way is a compilation of several mods Ive been working with TerrorFlatRider in the past couple of days to adress some problems with it as making all the mods together is troublesome at best but short answer yes, either by him or someone else, long answer its going to take a while since making new factions its tedious you need new icons portrait etc... most of the equipment and skins of said factions are there somo of said factions share skis and weapons as is the case with NATO faction but some others require making custom nationalities with custom sound files wich is somewhat dificult to acomplish as you can se he manage to give sound files to talibans and arabs by eliminating german and japanese sound files wich while it makes it work its not ideal but they will work eventually Im currently working on a brits addon with a couple of weapons some of them share skins and Ill try on the coming weeks to see if I can get the IDF to work properly and have germans speak german that way we could make a german factions as they share most of their equipment with us and nato countries... any suggestion is appreciated

you mean from copy paste on the editor??? for example if you choose said unit on the list works fine but if you use ctrl+c and ctrl+v for copy and paste then you have the bug??

you dont... just place all 4 files on a single folder use 7zip to extract the 001 and the automatically unpacks the other 3 then the folder you get is the complete mod... check the size at the end the folder should be somewhere near 6 gigs... if you dont believe me you can run a test place only the 001 file in a folder try to extract it and youll see it gives you an error

thats because the fix was only meant to fix the "filing" on the gun (the actual ammo the gu uses) the character having the wrong ammo is a "breed" thing you can either change it yourself on the set/breed file so the soldiers carry the correct ammo or wait a little until I finish the current addon and Ill fix it for you

hmmm thats odd mine before repairing the l85 showed the gun but as an exclamation mark wich means that the game couldnt find a file, anyway it will be fixed with the addon im workig on in the meantime is there any other gun on that specific folder that doesnt work??

on the ak74 yes your right maybe op just put it that way for simplicity since scavenging a battlefield for specific types of ammo could be problematic

yes and no... he included both the skis and weapons but for some reason they are not completly enabled... some files are missing im currently working on those files as soon as I have them working Ill try to contact op to se if I can upload the missing files... however they only have desert camo... no woodland and Im bad at skining so its a no go for me
