Has anybody else had problems with actually extracting the files after downloading?

True. I just figured it was worth mentioning.

Its strange though, i just got this thing in January and thus far Ive had no such problems. Only after Ive installed the mod. Also, after I deleted all the mod files and repaired my drive, it was fine.

Devs I have noticed a SERIOUS problem with the modpack, or at least I assume its the modpack. You see, a couple weeks after installing Last Day I noticed I was having some minor troubles with my disk drive on my computer (desktop icons disappearing, a couple random text files missing). These quickly evolved into much more serious problems like corrupted and unreadable files and applications, and even games being listed as not installed on Steam, but also unable to be installed again since many of the files for said game WERE still on my computer. Assuming this to be some bug or virus I reset my drive and subsequently reinstalled all my games, including Last Day. However, as Im typing this, Im having to run another drive repair, once again just a few weeks after installing Last Day. My computer is relatively new and I have never had this problem before now on any computer Ive owned. Im not sure Last Day is to blame, but given the circumstances Id say its worth investigating. If youd like, I could give you some of my PC specifications to help. I really like this mod and I want to see this fixed, if Last Day is indeed to blame.

I know for a fact that Hip (the female stalker) in the Rookie Village has a massive health pool and Fanatic is, as far as I can tell, unkillable unless youre playing as a Loner yourself. The only time I managed to kill him was with a suicide IED while playing as a loner. As far as Hip goes, staggering her and then stabbing her in the head is a great albeit risky way to shred through her health pool.

Were they taking any staggers or making cries of pain when you hit them? I had a glitch awhile ago where a Duty member literally had no hitbox, couldnt hit him. The IFF cursor didnt even register that I was looking at him.

Disguise system doesnt seem to work. Playing as a Merc and my Duty outfit wont even get me to the wild territory without getting noticed.

And with Fanatic? Frankly I just assumed he's unkillable since he's so important to the Loner questline.

So is Hip in the loner village just absurdly tanky or is she glitched somehow? I shot her in the face with a SV98 and a .45 countless times to seemingly no effect, but then it took just 2 stabs with my knife to kill her. I used up nearly all my ammo on her and I had quite a bit.

Update : I have noticed this problem with Fanatic too. It seems much worse with him even. I went into god mode and kept stabbing him in the head and it seems to do absolutely nothing.

I've noticed that the prompt for recruiting faction members into a squad is missing. Is this feature included like in Call of Chernobyl or was it removed?

So I started up the game after moving the English translation to the main Last Day folder and it started up in English just fine. Though after that I closed the game and opened it again and it was back to Russian. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

- A well thought out plan can often serve you better than any weapon.

- The more versatile you are the less likely you are to back yourself into a corner.

- Holding your position only works when you're the one laying the trap.

- Your worst enemy may very well be your pride. There are no heroes here, only the living and the dead.

- Remember that you're nobody special here. All of your tactics could be used against you at any given time.

- "Broken" and "useless" are very different things. Even the most neglected pistol can save your life in the right hands.

- Bandaging a wound isn't much use if you wait until you've bled to death.

- Every second has the potential to save your life or end it, you don't always have time to weigh all your options.

- The Zone is not a place of luxury. A cheap handful can keep you alive longer than a fancy canned meal.
