You also need to make sure (especially if you've been modding) that you haven't corrupted your game instal. Try wipping it out and re-installing. Then patch it, back it up, and make sure it runs before you do any modding.

Runs just fine for me on 7 64bit. I didn't even have to use the app compatibility tool. It just works.
It's probably not your OS. Check your hardware drivers and Direct X versions.

I just looked at this for the first time so here's a first impression point of view for you...
I almost immediatley thought, "This would be bad-*** in a video arcade!"
If you guys have the means to build a prototype machine and sell the idea to a couple arcades (that are doing well), you might make a little change on this. I personally would love to see a four seat/cockpit style arcade machine running this game; even better if it was linked to an online server so you could join games with players elsewhere.
