The gameplay and story are original. Yes, there IS a story to this game, a rather deep, and legendary one at that.
I have felt intense fear and uncomfortable feelings of being open to danger while playing, which makes for a great addition to the horror genre. It's fun to find out (through trial and error) the patterns of behavior from the antagonists, and to adapt your survival skills accordingly.
Though short, the experience is jam-packed with plenty to overcome and to think about, after your first initial five nights at Freddy's.
