I think I found that image while Googling for posts, questions, etc. about Propper. I'm vain. :)

Wow. I'm a modder myself and I feel for you, but you need to count to 20 and re-read your post a couple times before hitting that post button.
Just ignore the self-entitled kids and have fun making the mod you want to play. Some people don't seem to understand that this is your hobby, and you'll do it at your pleasure, or not at all.
Almost certainly not. Letting you make bones in Hammer would be possible, but I have no idea how you could do mesh weighting and keyframe animation. At any rate it's far outside my initial intentions for the tool.
You know you could do most of this stuff just by running a modded Fortress Forever server. There's no need to copy the entire mod and try to get people to download it.
The zip files contains a folder called sourcesdk--you merge that with your existing steam\steamapps\<username>\sourcesdk folder (you must have the SDK installed first). It won't work if you put it anywhere else.
Please read Developer.valvesoftware.com and look at some of the links at the bottom of the page.
I'll quote the readme:
Changes since last release:
You can now create more than one model at once by turning parts of your existing map into propper_model entities. You can run Propper on the map and it will ignore everything except the propper_*entities. Other new features include:
*custom physics meshes
*LOD support
*bodygroups support
I changed a lot of the code for this version, and the exes just compiled smaller this time.
It's useful as a SMD exporter from Hammer, or if you have an existing map that would benefit from optimization.
The download contains an exe that is an edited version of Valve's SDK code. I can only give you my word that I haven't added any malicious code. Or I can send you the source code if you like.
No, but it will skip any face that's textured with nodraw (or other tool textures).
As the procedure for using Propper is a bit different now, I'll be working on some tutorials soon to get everyone up to speed. Please test this tool out for bugs, as a lot has changed.
The reference smd is used as the animation SMD. It's valid because it already contains everything that's needed for a single frame animation.
BTW please see the VDC wiki page for usage information, feature/bug lists, and links to tutorials. Developer.valvesoftware.com
