So I haven't downloaded this update yet, because I can't get the other updates to work. Also with the base game, I've just entered the Garbage zone, and I can't find the guys defending the scrap yard or the metal works area. It's as if they did not exist. Any suggestions or advice in order to fix these problems?

Other than the regular X-wing, you can not lock your wings into cruise position at all, unless you want to crash the game. I am currently using a NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 960M along with an intel i7 core on my laptop, hope this helps. I may try and conduct videos in the near future to help show what's right and wrong, at least in your eyes.
