You talk of it like it's a decision that's made by the game developers! Of course, maybe the zomboid fellas dislike steam, but too actually get published on steam, you have to actually get accepted by them to begin with.
Too bad the guys at steam sometimes seem to have their priorities all wrong, so that these awesome indie games that would be huge hits on steam don't get in, but the awful ones does.
