I wasn't able to talk about FEAR in a videogame until I was looking into the bibliotecary's eyes for the first time in Metro 2033. With this video, I experienced the same feeling again today.

One hundred thanks for create this ..cking amazing mod.

... and yes, in this case you don't need to reload manually because you got a bullet already chambered. And yes again, the actual animation looks so bad, seems that you're "wasting" a bullet when reloading by the face.

1) Affirmative. When yo do your last shoot in a M16/M4/LR300 and other weapons with Stoner's inspired bolt catch design (SCAR-L/H, Magpul ACR, HK416...), this last shoot puts the bolt back, and when you put the new mag into your gun you only need to press the bolt catch BUTTON (i forgot to introduce this word) to force the bolt to put a new round into the chamber, ready-to-fire.

Can you also put the first round into the chamber pulling back the charging handle (bolt mounted)? Of course, but the bolt catch is more simple to operate in stress conditions, like Eugene Stoner observed.

2) The bolt catch button, reloading system, it's not implemented to all modern weapons, only in abovemetioned and few other occidental guns. If you use an Ak 47 or any other traditional charging handle reloading system, when you do the last shoot the bolt remains mounted and charging handle stills catched back; you need to replace the mag and then pull back again the charging handle to "liberate" the bolt and force it to put a new round into the chamber, no button here to simplify the procedure. In any case, if you have a malfunction or you simply want to waste a round in your AK or M4 you can pull back the charging handle and the round chambered will be automatically ejected, right.

3) Completely agree: if any modder fixes it, it could be great, because if you replace a non-empty mag in your weapon with a new mag, you're ready-to-fire 30+1.

Thanks for all

OMG! This is attention to detail: when you replace the mag of a LR300/M16/M4 you DON'T have to pull the charging handle back, you just need to press the bolt catch and ready-to-fire. Finally somebody deigned to fix it. Good job!

No problem, just a minor detail. Thanks for all!

Hi again,guys. Last minute question:

Have you implemented prone position in Misery 2.0?

Hi again. Last day I was thinking about an abstract aspect that, in my modest opinion, it's not well deepened in vanilla CoP and even in Misery 1.2, that is how suits can help (or penalise) our character to remain unnoticed and undisturbed in the Zone.

To explain what I'm trying to say imagine the following example: you are a pop fan wearing a Madonna's shirt in a park; if you lost the wallet and later you will try to recover it, but in the same park there's now a rocker convention, don't you try to hide the evidences of your music tastes to ward off a secure beatting? Translated to the Zone: if you are an ucranian SECRET agent in the Zone, trying SUBTLY to recover information of some military helos, and you know that in this area there are some factions (stalkers, bandits, monolith, freedom, etc.) who are at war with each other, don't you try to hide the symbols of your membership to avoid a rain of bullets coming from the enemy groups?

I'm not saying I'm dissapointed with the existence of specific faction suits, like Bulat or Freedom's/Duty's body armour, I'm trying to say that in the interest of survival would be good to have some kind of camouflage like a guillie suit for the USS Sniper specialization, or a simple coat to put on top of any suit (as in MISERY 2.0 artwork), effective to mislead human enemys -maybe not veterans- in long ranges.

That's a hard modding work, I know... maybe in Misery 3.0? xD

As allways, thanks for your time.

or otherwise Beretta and Walther pistols would be too similar.

In any case a Mosin scope by default wasn't a bad add...

Maybe, but some Mary Jane joints sounds even better ;)

About the USS Sniper specialization: ¿Why we enter the Zone with a one-century old NON-scoped Mosin Nagant and not with a modern and more common rifle like SVD?

I love the idea of including old weapons in this mod, but in terms of storyline I think that Mosins, including here Kars and others, have to be seen more as a granfather's relic inherited by a young poor stalker than a professional spec-ops operator main weapon.

I also fail to understand why the P99 has a 10 round 9x19 magazine if the real one comes with 16 round.

Maybe those things are pointless, but any suggestion?

Roger that. I hope that you and your team do your best to produce the most amazing CoP mod we ever seen; maybe some adds like new locations, calibers or gun models (Glock pistols or Yariguin PYa?) will be apreciated by freaky fans like me, but I perfectly understand that a pistol caliber discrepancy, for example, is a minor technicism compared to the titanic work you're doing on Misery.

Best regards from Spain, and as always thanks for all!

Hi again. Have GP100 (357. magnum) and Desert Egle (357. magnum, 44. magnum, 50. action express, etc.) the same 45ACP rounds as in 1.1 version or you introduced their real ammo? Thanks.

Have anybody played MISERY without savegames?

I try to pass this mod only with autosaves, to prevent eventual crashes, and it's really mad, a totally new and scary Zone experience, I ****** my pants with every whisper...

Hello again, guys. I have a new question: have Degtyarev in Misery 2.0 two universal gun slots like in the vanilla or we can expect many changes here? Personally I preffer the CS concept of two different slots, one for primary guns and the other for a pistol or maybe a small secondary like Vz.61 Skorpion. Just consider this, I'm an airsoft player and when I try to do a transition from my AK74M to a sniper rifle (or any other "big" gun) slung across my back, it's not instantaneously, it takes so many time, man... like in CS takes to put a gun from the bag to the big slot ready-to-use, you know what i'm talking about?. I think this system is more reallistic than standart, but it's only an opinion, of course.

I also think that you can set a volume limit to our weapon inventory as well as the standart weight limit. I'm agree with the weight limitation of the three USS classes and the sprinting resistance related, but if we are only enable to carry one big gun in the hands and one pistol in the holster, another one or max. two primary guns hunged in the back and maybe a few secondary guns in the backpack, that sounds more plausible that running across the Zone with six or seven AK's, four RPG's and twenty pistols (you may need a van to carry that, even not exceeding the 30/35/40kg weight limit).

That's all, thanks for your time!

Hi again. When I say "new locations" I don't try to suggest the creation of new complete levels or rebirth any old SoC or CS entire map, I only suggest to modificate some of the (in my opinion) unexploited places of the three original maps of CoP, for example creating or changing some places, always in the same level, or adding new optional missions to achieve.

In all case thank you very much for your job, I'm sure that MISERY 2.0 will rock all of us!

After complete "I Work Alone" I can only say 1000 THANKS to all the modders involved, for a great, deep, fine and pacient work. In my opinion this is the best CoP mod available now, a perfect fusion of the too trigger happy Smarter and the scary solitude of the original ones.

I'm agree with almost all modifications you will introduce in the 2.0 version of MISERY, ¿but what about some new locations and missions? An example: under the stand of the Prometheys movie theather in Prypiat seems to be stairs that conduce to a basement, with a blocked door... ¿And if it conduces to a secret HQ of Monolith? ¿And what about to create a fully playable Yanov's cooling tower underground? Stalker fans will apreciate as well if you can arrange some history bugs, like our incapacity to recruit Noah to cross the Prypiat tunnels.

Thanks for all!
