Hey, I'm Carim, and I'm 15, and learning programming in my own time. I'm pretty skilled with Visual Basic 6, and Visual Basic.NET, and I'm learning C and C# to open up my options. I'm currently working on an ORPG called Iron Prelude, and various other games with a friend. I also do graphic design, and I can pixel art when I want to, and use Photoshop proficiently. I enjoy programming, and making user interfaces. I also like playing games! I like strategy and RPG games, so show me yours if you've got one. =D

According to Sekaru, I'm in charge of Crawle's programming for the next two months. Scary stuff.

Which is why me and Sekaru are actually doing chunks, right now. xD. TeamViewer, ftw.

You try rendering 56000000x56000000px image in DX8, and get any higher than 1 FPS. Plus, the caching system in place already does something similar to that, but, because of the sheer amount of graphics, it wouldn't matter, anyway. xD

Just because it has biomes, it doesn't make it Minecraft.

Yes, because software made in VB6 can damage specially designed and made hardware.

Starting with C++ with no programming experience? That's more or less improbable for anybody. I recommend C or .NET. C obviously being more powerful, but just a bit more procedure-based things to grasp, or .NET being great for Windows development, and extremely simple to grasp after a while of practising.

Personally, Java can go do itself mercilessly, but, all down to personal preference. :>

The only reason it was constant is because at the time I was stupidly unaware that you didn't have to close it whenever you wanted to run conflicting code, and I was constantly using the debug. xD. Obviously, a stupid thing to think, but hey.

Last time I checked, IP used -very- small fragments of Avians source code, not made up of ideas and parts of
Avian. >_>. Mate, for once, stop exaggerating to make yourself seem more epic. >_>

My god, people DO look at it. O_O

If it's calling it a dropper, and you have the updater, it's most likely the updater, not the game itself.

I'm sorry, but you assume Minecraft is the origin of sandbox games. Think again, there were many sandbox games that came before Minecraft, and as a result, inspired Minecraft to start with.

And besides, if you read about the gameplay, you'd find the gameplay is completely different from Minecraft. Minecraft has seriously rushed RPG elements, this is based more or less entirely around RPG elements.

Before trollin', get your facts right. :D
