The issue comes back randomly, but is often fixed with a reload. If that doesn't do it, a restart.

I DID try to play the hunter quest (which I did, and I died. A lot.), then restarted the game and started a new game as a Tremere. That's all I did differently when I couldn't choose an option.

But after the clean install, its working.

Hey Wesp, I also got the issue with not being able to select dialogue options. English, Win10, nothing special. But I had other mods installed and installed 1.3 on top of old files. Trying a fresh install now to test it out, then going to try the above commenter's fix.

Krem, I have everything installed, I started up HL2EP2 at least once (do I actually have to PLAY it?), and I've attempted every fix given possible. The only thing I can get to work is the command that deactivates the specific UI you are currently in, which is hard to do when there are so many different instances.

I get it's hard to re-create. But if I can help you in ANY way, just let me know. I'm willing to skype or anything, I would love to play this mod!

I'm having this problem and for w/e reason, nothing fixes it. The console command doesn't work, whether I use the above one or +jump. I deleted the config file and let it regenerate. Took at look at it and it says:
bind "SPACE" "+jump"
Which is right, right..?
