I'd like an invitation, sure! I love Steam but it has its flaws, so I am very excited about this project. Especially the fact that you can submit your own content, as other similar services don't allow you to do that.

I am afraid you shouldn't start working on a game engine yet. Experience with RPG makers or similar isn't enough, as using an engine such as irrlicht you'd need to know quite much about coding itself.

Cool, but it should be "Ieva's Polka", not "Leva's Polka". I know. I'm Finnish.
