Went directly too, Gamefront- searched Third Age Total War 3.0 File section- Blank white page, no errors only ads and the sites logo, no "Cannot find that" message of any sort. Technical issue on my end? SOrry for all the posts just would like to share in the enjoyment with eveyrone else but seem to have a 1 of a kind problem =]

Well, up to 3.1 (which i have not played) takeing into consideration Isengards bezerkers + the multitudes of infantry + crossbowmen sounds like total annihilation of Rohan =O

I have deleted my original 3.0 pt. 1 & 2 restarted tried to re-install the initial 3.0 and now it is haveing the same issue as when i tried to start the 3.1 download, am i the only one with this problem? Is Filefont or w/e the site is bug'd? LoL this is crazy!

All factions can be beaten if you have a united cause, I am a returning player that hasnt played in a few months. Ive beaten all good and half the evil factions with a Harad/Rhun/Mordor alliance. Its what this RTS is all about... Strategy and well placed resorces/soldiers

Does it happen with every fight or just certain ones? Ive had only 3-4 crash-battles most of which were on either heavily moutainous regions (hilly terrain) or during the winter season.

Lol no no no, i know there are "Custom" characters from the movies in the game. Im talking like your own custom avatar general that you can play in-game i.e. games like LoTR Battle Field Middle Earth custom character creation. I understand the complexity of it so i appreciate the time and effort on an emense scale of what this mod team does. I can always dream it! Thank you mod team many times over, this in paticular has led me to many late nights and victory dances. And thank you Legolose for answering all of the repatative questions asked on this board! LOL ive been away from this for too long.

Wish the Total War series had custom characters to do campaigns with that you could m ove over to this mod. would be narly.

Yes the wall's are glitched, i found this out some time ago when i started playing and i attacked Gondor and i went up to the gate to smash it down and all of their units ran thru the wall and killed all my people w/ t he ram.

There are certain things you must do to play as Arnor,First you must play as Eriador,
You must capture Hoarwell, Tharbad and Coldfells to reunite Arnors old borders. After that you need to "restore" (aka build) the "House of Kings in Annúminas". Last but not least you need to secure an alliance with Gondor and thus have them accept Aragorn as the Arnorian king.
Step 1: Capture Hoarwell, Tharbad and Coldfells while retaining control of your starter settlements.
Step 2: Build the House of Kings in Annúminas (Requires a large city, best way to achieve this fast is to use Aragorn as a governor in Annúminas and set taxes to low)
Step 3: Secure an alliance with Gondor(Note; it seems you can complete these steps in any order)
Aragon must be alive and Gondor must not be destroyed before you secure an alliance with them...

Orcs of Misty Mountains no matter what get's the "One Ring". Your general get's it and whatever units he is in control of, usually benefit from it. But eventually your general will do things himself and make commands by himself to your units while you are fighting makeing it difficult to be a tactical commander.

I played Mordor, I didnt loose gold that fast. I mean i usually dont attack anybody til 15-20 turns in as i am building gold to upgrade my buildings to they can be max'd at the stages of the war. So idk, somebody asked about Isengard and how they are casterated by Rohan? I made a comment but i repel it and replace it with "Just call for an invasion" on the main city (Which as i havent played today...yet i cannot remember the name of) and EVERYBODY will send atleast 1 unit of th eir generals, at this point they can be a diversion as you amass an assload of your Uruk Raiders + Snaga Archers & Dundeling spearmen, and just attack the city w/ its forces so dispersed its easily taken and you kill th e faction leader. In my case however, i did that and they came at me w/ a full army to my Defence'd walls and about 1/2 of their men and we killed each others generals. BUT yes thats how you do that mess

Ya, They didnt promote a new steward to gondor and no privates in any of their territories had proved themselves worthy of promoted to general so they ultimately died off.

You have to send out an emissary to OoMM,Orcs of Gundabad, and Mordor. Become allies, If you have enough favour w/ sauron invade a large enemy city close to any of the 3 of you allies put a LARGE garrison there then move forward. If you just sit in Isengard you will just die off, Commission an invasion on Rohan is what i would suggest.

I aided Isengard whenever they commissioned an invasion on Rohan, and i ended up takeing it over.

You probably have the management system on "Automatic" for your town, and since its on that. You are useing military influence to get income, which in turn decreases happiness. Turn it to "Growth" your gold income will be lower but your population will increase and your people will be happy. My advice, play a defensive position and hoard all of yoru supplies, then make a move to aid an ally and tak over their enemies territories. Its easier to own cities when they are surrounded by allies usually by race (i.e. WoodElves/HighElves,Gondor/Rohan). But, in my case im Rhun, and ive clear'd every good faction off the map except for Gondor which i will soon enough because i still need Minas Tirith.

You have to take steps with Free People's of Eriador and reunite the Kingdom of Arnor.

Its because the units that are able to make the spear wall are already in the formation at the start of the battle. I have to take my Goblin Halberds off of it so they can run up the side of the damn mountain to catch up to the un-heroic High Elves XD

If anything they need to let OOMM have cap'd Troll units, numbers doest always mean success i had 2x the number of Dwarves and they were so tired the dwarves were able to route all my units in less then 1 1/2 minutes -.-

Delete all TATW Files from your computer and re-install. If this doesnt help... Idk what to tell you.
