How it began:

After the failed try to make a similar mod about this (Queens Heart), me and Horst started to create some assets and maps, since there were no other Singleplayer Modifications about the Iraq War. The name Codename: Dead Bird started as a joke, but later on we thought it was a good name. The mod will have well-known weapons and vehicles and there won't be a Crysis weapon in this mod. Everyone who loved Batllefield 2 will love this mod as well, because the action is similar, but we will try to make the Iraq war theme more prominent and we will also show some nice parts of Iraq, and not just the deserts.

Codename: Dead Bird is a mod wich cooperates with the Insidejob-Mod. Both try to make a similar kind of mod, but we decided that we just make a singleplayermod and Insidejob will do a multiplayer mod.

Prehistory:
After an assasination on the US president, which has failed, started the USA the attacks against the Iraq again and make them stroger than ever.
A result of the starting offensive and the decrase of the might of the terrorists, is the increasing count of suicide bombers against the US soldiers. But much more dangerous is the fact that the terrorists bould several nukerockets on the blackmarket. Now the situation is more dangerous than ever and endangered the Iraq-program of the USA.
The player will control a Special Force Soldier, try to find a way to stop the terror.
