Our next release will feature quite a lot of stuff that isn't in the version you guys are playing at the moment.

APC in this release? Maybe, maybe not.
Mutators will be supported I guess, just like any other mod out there. You wanna play around with it, go for it :D
As for servers, we always aimed the game at being played by up to 5 people - its really designed that way, though there is no reason why you can't add more if you want it to - its just the amount of zombies and guns works best with fewer players.

We did a small news update a while back to say we're not dead.
We're getting ready for a new release, actually, sort of a beta 01. We're not sure what'll happen beyond that (it could be one of many things) but at the very least you will all get to play everything we've done over the project so far. BMR is not dead, and even if this is the last release for UT2004, we will be carrying on - I'm just not allowed to say as what yet.

We had a series of setbakcs over the summer months that have combined to give everyone the impression we're dead. Most of them being interenet access and domain/hosting-related problems.
Stay tuned, we'll be back with a vengeance in the not-too-distant future.
No, just the one skin is being shown here but there will be more than one variations on the zombie in terms of visuals. In terms of gameplay variation, you'll have to wait and see :)
Not at the moment, unless someone does hosts one themselves. For the next release we will be renting a server or two so fingers crossed for a bit more support then.

Also, you need to make sure you have ut2004, the latest patch and the ECE Community Bonus Pack.Sometimes reinstalling the patch after the ECE Bonus pack helps.
Erm, to be honest I don't / didn't know. Oh well, it's got nothing to do with them. Unless they're a zombie faction. With would be awkward :)

Alpha one is a gametype and mutator. Subsequent releases will be more complete packages.
