With respect to the black stone tiles on Dantooine, I think black is largely a Sith color, and should be reserved for areas like master Uthar's personal chamber and such.
Consider something like white marble or polished limestone for the Jedi Enclave.
Consider some lapis lazuli, angelite, or iolite for select areas of Manaan, perhaps the courtroom.

I think some of the other temples like those on the Unknown World, could benefit from some colored stone tiles or inlays of stone, or perhaps covered in gold or platinum leaf. Shouldn't there be more precious or semiprecious stones in these Force type temples? It seems to me with the interest in colored lightsaber crystals, surely some gemstones would be appropriate, with the Sith and Rakata places having the most.

How about some malachite or jade in the Hutt's areas? You would think that a Hutt would want a more opulent surrounding than what is generally around, yet the design really isn't that different in the Hutt areas of Taris and Tatooine. Maybe they are the poor Hutts, but that really doesn't make sense. I figure the Hutts would have silk drapes as well.

I love KOTOR, as it is my favorite video game of all time, but the graphics could be better, even though they are beautiful. The graphics in KOTOR have a simplicity to their styling that looks gorgeous, despite being somewhat plain. KOTOR 2, by contrast, looks a bit dirty, and not as pretty, even though the graphics are more advanced.

Ideally I think that to simply improve the resolution of the styling that is already there is what needs to be done first. I want to experience the same KOTOR experience, only richer and more elaborate. An alternate styling for an occasional change of pace would be interesting, but I think it most important to honor the original feeling of the game, of which the graphic design is an integral part.

The music is already virtually perfect, as is the dialogue. Expanded areas to play and explore, with new side missions and conversations with NPCs would be welcome as well. New equipment in plasteel cylinders in new areas would be nice, with new looks and stats. Perhaps the desire for a new look can simply be addressed by making new areas.
I would also like HD reskins for all of the characters.
