Hello all, sorry its been a while. While you were all waiting I was editing the Second level, even though not done with the first,(Had a few block mess ups and such)just so I could see how the end of the first should look, I also started editing some of the Future levels, since I'm better at underground scenes, I added more of them and less Nams Forest. Hope this doesn't Upset your day :[

Sorry guys been caught up with a lot of school work. Trying to work on it as much as possible, if you'd like to join the team and help out with mapping tell me.

I see i wasn't clear enough on that new news. Kinda made it at 12:00 midnight so I was beat. So clearing this up in a comment, I am accepting Mod Db Members to help me If you would like email me or send me a message on Mod db I Don't care eithers fine.

All of you can stop looking at this now im uploading a new picture of it a few min with geometry work, such as hills (that still need smoothing and mountains in the background

Cori you have 10x that of insults in your posts than helpful advice. Maybe if you can shorten that, ill stop deleting them and take your advice.

Sorry I'm not accepting help from Mod db Mems on this mod. And theres supposed to be a person in the Middle, you, and a bunch of enemies, Zombies, combine, Etc. I'm going to make a more realistic one in a while. (Also the Picture was meant to be at a birds eye view so that's why they are dots, i guess :P). The Circle is like a Proximity/Area. In other words, your in the Middle of the map, which is the circle, and your being surrounded.

Still not finished map of Nams Forest but i redid it and put in fences, Joure gave me some very helpful info. Now i gotta work extra extra hard on the background! Also if you did not read the Description of the Pic this is were you will begin at the beginning

Thats true, but since Im working mostly with forest props for the first part of the game, i thought headys might prove very useful in certain spots. I think Im doing models on the next mod i make ( If of course you enjoy this one that is). My friend Ryan was supposed to be our modeler, but he is a bit busy over the Summer, so I think hes sticking to Media Man.

See this is what i want, Advice and useful tips, not "o this map is ****" "This is ****". That does not help me any. If you really dislike the mod that much don't comment unless you can tell me how to fix this. Thats why i delete peoples comments until they can have a heart, come back, and tell me what i should do about it.

Never said that picture was my work, second i put it up there for you to see the original, hell i could put it in the game as it was But it needed modifying, then i would understand why you could/would be upset if it was inserted without modifcation.

Thats very kind but Its only a beta. All you just calm down. Whats released is released. Do you want me to improve the Beta which has no storyline, or get on with the real mod? All i needed was comments on Game content not map criticism. Does nobody read the description?

You all understand i showed this picture to let you know im making progress this is not what the real map is gonna be like its, still being clipped and vertexed a bunch. Not even a quarter of the way through it. Also i see what you mean about the blocks i guess i could use Prop Fences from ep 2.... Ill look into it. Thanks Joure very helpful info

That was interesting, I listened to the Original Silent Hill Theme for the game. It was good, I'll keep it until Wednesday so i can see what other people have to say and then I'll announce the Winner.

Well its only a beta, doesn't need to be that detailed. Since you could see i did not add the skybox you could tell I wasn't aiming for map criticism. Please read the description, I want feedback for my Game content and map ideas.

Cr3 If you can't tell the difference in a source engine forest and a real life/drawn forest then you are quite blind.

The Image has nothing to do with the map. I needed a Forest picture that fits the theme of Never Alone, something that makes you feel alone. This picture fit the Theme well i have other pictures as well. Don't just judge the map by looking at the pic, Im sure we could all tell it was too real to be the source engine...

I know its a headcrab Zombie, Ryan the Media man is meeting up on Sunday to discuss whether he is making models. If not ill just have to work with headcrab Zombies. Besides ive cooked up some fun traps with Headcrabs already so i might just stick with them.
