Hmmm... Can I ask, what type of controller are you using?

Other solution: Unplug the controller, restart the game, and start with just the keyboard. It only hides the cursor if it detects you have a controller.

Gist was, great feedback, a lot of the things you mentioned were things that we actually did want to fix ourselves, so we were glad to hear you had the same thoughts.

Thanks for the feedback! I tweaked the shotgun so it is much more effective now (maybe too powerful, but we'll see). I'll look into the reload bug. There is a feature where if you use the last bullet in the gun you have to hit the forward arrow after reloading, to simulate racking the slide to add a bullet to the chamber. Maybe that's it, but I'll definitely check it out. Look for your username in the special thanks when the game ships!

Good catch! I looked into that bug and from what I can tell it was happening only with the low cover. I fixed it so if an enemy is shot from behind, they die as they should. You will see the fix in the next build. As a thank you for catching it, I'll add your username to the special thanks in the credits of the shipped game. Let me know if you find any more!

If you use rigid bodies you can add force and torque to make things roll or even fly. It's how we do grenades and bullet casings. I've made a plane game with it before so I think what you're asking is possible. What are you trying to make?

Thanks for the feedback! There is a recoil system but it's probably not set high enough because you're definitely right, you can easily kill guys in cover by just spamming the pistol. Perhaps a random recoil before the gun fires so the first shot isn't always 100% accurate.

Really enjoying slideDB. It has definitely helped drive people to our app and we look forward to posting more games on it. Perhaps you could make something like Indie Royale except just for mobile apps. You buy the bundle and get the download codes. Just a thought.

I think it's important for indie developers to take on more than one role. Presumably many of us want to some day work in the industry so broadening our knowledge and skill base is important. The more things you do on your own games means the more things you can put on that resume. It's definitely something to be proud of and encouraged.

We actually are planning on having a zombie Simon Pegg running around somewhere in the game (or at least have his corpse make a cameo). We are thinking of having the game sell for around $5 as the game will be at least 5-6 hours worth of play time.
