I don't have these problems and I use Windows 10 in 2024.

After over 10 years, I've been playing "The Hell 1" again for 2 days. What I really appreciate about this MOD is that the spirit of the original "Diablo" is completely retained and at the same time the game is meaningfully expanded with many functions.

1. The balancing of this MOD works incredibly well.

2. All available items have been sensibly provided with appropriate attributes. The “Unique Items” are particularly well done.

3. This MOD has a shared STASH that can be accessed by every game character. A feature that greatly increases the long-term effect of playing !

4. The difficulty level is something that old "Diablo-Veterans" will really appreciate about this MOD.

5. During battles, the player is not able to save the game. This creates a certain tension and the player has to think about his abilities before going into battle. This makes success feel twice as good as in the original Diablo.

6. The graphics of the new items match the look of the original Diablo 100%.

I will leave a final review of The Hell 1 at a later date.

Finally, I can only thank Mordor for his years of work. This MOD changes a lot, but in exactly the right places and just feels 100% DIABLO.

A little info for all those who want to play "The Hell" with STASH.

Start the game with the file "TheHell.exe".

There are two music files that you need to download from the "File-Section" on this page.

Extract the contents of these two files into the folder in which you previously unpacked "The Hell".

Then start the game with “TheHell.exe”.

1. Extract the "The Hell" files to your hard drive (are located in the previously downloaded "The Hell, v1.235" archive).

2. Paste the file "DIABDAT.MPG" (Located on your purchased Diablo CD) into the "The Hell" folder on your hard drive.

3. Start the game with the file “TheHell.exe”

Now seriously ... Do you know what retarded is? ... That you say that "Mana" MUST always be represented as "Blue" because OTHERS always do it that way ... So no one else is allowed to use a color other than BLUE for "Mana"? ...WOW... THIS is definitely RETARDED ! ... What a limited logic ...

Yes definitely. I've always found your MOD´s very very good, but The Hell 3 is really a very well-rounded thing. You manage to change a lot of things about Diablo 1 with your MOD, but these changes still seem as if they were part of the game from the beginning. There are many things in this MOD that I wished for back in 1996 - 1998 and while playing Diablo 1 I often wished that at some point in the future there would be someone who could expand and change this game. You've really done a great job with your MOD and I'm definitely grateful that you stuck with it.

I didn't know how to choose the pistoler class before, but last night I tried out this class. Respect to you. The fact that after 27 years of Diablo 1 I'm playing a kind of revolver hero is really a really cool thing and you've adapted the hero graphically very well. Thank you for your years of work and perseverance.

It's me again and I've signed up now. Yes, I can understand that well. It's your MOD and you ultimately decide what you want in it and what not. Will the “Pistoleer” make it into the game? I saw your test video for this new class and I really like it. Are you still working on this class, or have you already discarded it?
