Amazing game! Thanks for a Linux version.
Try this command (from Desura launcher) in the game directory:
Try to launch the game from the console to see the output. If the problem is with libfmodex64.so file then solution by gegoxaren could help.
Thanks! It's running now. Great looking game but unfortunately it's starting only in window mode.
Both 32-bit and 64-bit versions of the game won't start on Mint 13 64-bit:
error while loading shared libraries: libfmodex64.so: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
Cool game, but there is a problem with starting it on linux: Error opening ../desura/common/sleepless-night/Sleepless Night.sh.
Executable file is Sleepless_Night.sh.
So sad it was never released on Linux
Can I have a desura key if I brought this game from your site?
Any chance for a demo?
Great! Thanks a lot.
I have this error when set Friar Tuck free (don't know the exact mission number):
FATAL: MISSING FILE "%s". Unable to open dialog stream !
on linux mint 11.
It runs quite well on Mint 11 64-bit, except the fullscreen mode. But the game is too cruel to me.
Same here. You can get postal2aw in the .tar.bz file but on my PC game don't start anyway:
Signal: SIGSEGV [segmentation fault]
Crash information will be saved to your logfile.
On MInt 11 64 bit:
./dosbox-64: /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/libstdc++.so.6: version `GLIBCXX_3.4.15' not found (required by ./dosbox-64)
./dosbox-64: error while loading shared libraries: libSDL_sound-1.0.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory
How do I fix this?
After new update everything works perfect. Thanks a lot!
Desura 0.8 works mostly great on my Linux Mint 64-bit system but I have a problem installing few games. When I try to install this games installer hangs up on the "Gathering information" window. If I press Cancel Desura shuts down with this message in console:
(desura:23288): Gtk-CRITICAL **: IA__gtk_window_set_modal: assertion `GTK_IS_WINDOW (window)' failed.
I am pretty sure deleting Desura folder and installing the client again will fix this problem but maybe there is another way so solve it?
