Thank you!
Thanks a lot, Scott! :D
Hi Dave,
Our game is a narrative driven 2d role playing game with an emphasis on dialogue - comparing it to Ghost Recon and Rainbow Six (which are very good games, don't get me wrong) is perhaps not the best approach.
Visuals are not everything, and even then - these assets are early pre-alpha and will be significantly improved by the time of release. I hope that once the game is ready, you will look at it in a different light.
Thanks,
Arvind
Yes, backers will get desura keys.
Thanks! There's more coming soon, I hope you'll like it even more :D
Thanks a lot! It's inspired by things really close to my heart, so I hope it turns out great. :D
I've tried mailing the Desura devs a lot of times, but there's not been any progress. Really sorry about that.
As far as I'm aware there's only one issue with the intro level sprites being invisible (that's kind of not solve-able), other than that the game should work fine.
You can run WFF_old.exe to fix it, this is a problem with Intel GPUs.
I've emailed the Desura support again, waiting for their reply now.
I don't have the launcher problem (I followed your steps, it works for me - otherwise I definitely would have given them the details myself). The support guys told me it might be happening if you moved your Desura install, and told me to get the user to email them (which is what I did).
A few users have told me about this issue, but it's entirely related to the Desura client. I don't have any control over the Desura client's code, so I contacted them because that's all I can do here, sadly. :(
In the worst case scenario, I have a DRM free download available alongside the Desura download, in case the problem is impossible to solve.
Hi,
I've contacted Desura support, and they're asking if you could email them with the details of the problem (their email is support@desura.com), I'm sure the problem will be sorted out.
I've contacted the Desura support about the issue, it seems really strange that it's taking so long to fix it.
You could use a portion of this box image: Media.moddb.com
Or you could try this image out: Arvindrajayadav.files.wordpress.com
You people are awesome. Best of luck for the future (and beyond!) :D
Can you try to use the standalone download from the site?
To fix this issue, redownload the game via Desura or the standalone download.
Can you PM me a link to your savegame where this crash happens? Thanks.
Modding is open to everyone, of course :)
I'll post more info on modding the game. You can, of course, figure out stuff yourself. Start by opening up res/default.xml, and you'll see what files are used. It can all be done using a text editor.
Can you PM me a link to your savegame where this crash happens? Thanks.
I'll contact the Desura support about this.
You need the 32 bit version of the library. I'll ask desura to fix this.
The missing libglew error should be fixed now.
It's fixed now. It's a problem on their end.
I'll forward your observation to the Desura guys. Thanks.
Hmm, could you pm me your system specs? I haven't had the game lock up a PC before, sorry about that.
Try running wff_old.exe
If you could PM me your system specs and which version of win/linux you are using, that would be great.
Are you using an Intel graphics processor? Which levels is the issue in exactly?
