The game was unbelievable because Saber and I did almost all of the legwork the entire game, with our 3rd place guy seriously pulling some weight as well.
hahahaha duuuude, it was epic. And all this with the fact that I was lagging with a 2 sec delay and played with random guns. Then again the ranks on the other side wasn't very high. I'm used to playing vs service star 40+++. things get hot then heheh. If a war ever breaks out...I want u on my side Arcones, respect bro!
Ok, well when I said nobody I kinda referred to the competitive community, my bad. BF3 is a top notch competitive game and the competitive community keeps to the latest and/or greatest in challenging team play games. With the rigs we are running we have no probs with bf3 on the competitive scene in regards to broken gameplay. 99% in that field has been fixed
BF3 broken? Well, true, it is in some places, but I would say that if it's being built off of a more advanced engine, which is capable of more than what it did for BC2, then I'd say it's better.
Also, if you keep the same gamemodes from BC2 AND add extra ones.... I'd say we have ourselves a winner :D
lets hope with BF4 aka BF3.5 they will actually go back to their roots. I mean 1942 is still ppls most fav bf <<< fact
so they have no excuse if they just listen to the community
there are some things you should know first before expecting the next bf.
1: i've spoken with an ea develloper kleanup1 who says that the next bf will be a bad company one. ea might cooperate with crytek, but that's not sure. (crytek wants some rights in the bf franchise and thus money, but what ea wins idk) going back to their roots of 1942? we need to advance not go back. call of duty wouldn't benefit from a cod 4 clone, they just need a big cleanup. for example look at moh warfighter, that doesn't resemble the first medal of honor games, yet will be quite awesome i think.
2: dice and bf are owned by ea and thus something HAS to go wrong. especially when they take over an existing franchise
1. daheck? Since when is the next BF a BC one? The only thing I've seen so far is pre-order MOH:W in order to get beta access for BF4 (or 3.5, whatever, you wanna call it) which won't come out for a few more years.
2. Saber's point was game style. I think any of the CoD games beyond 4 are complete and total crap. I'd prefer it if they remade 4 with some new stuff (graphics, maps, etc). Going back isn't a bad thing.
1: it wouldn't be the first time if the rumoured title turned out different. remember the ironwolf rumour? additionaly a new bad company would be so much better than a bf3.5 ofc i had my doubts with this ea dev. but has put a lot of hours on his account and just restarted a new one to re-evaluate this game on pc (which still rocks on that platform, can't speak out about the rest). even his account name was copyrighted.
2: yes but what would follow after the cod 4-ish title? another one? more complaints about not being original. the activision moneywhores and a big part of the community ruined the cod franchise. i hope it will turn out well.
edit: also posted something on ten's blog (a bit late i know)
2. good point, very good point. Although I would think at one point they would at least be able to spur themselves on from a different perspective instead of copy and paste....
1. Yup, understand that. I'm also coming from a perspective that so far Dice has done exactly what it's wanted to do. And with the next DLC's for BF3 coming out late this year AND early next year, they may be building up to something in BF4 (or 3.5 lulz). Just some more food for thought ;)
EDIT: In response to what I saw of your comment on ten's blog: I do believe in the first one, that God is omnipotent and punishes people, but it goes WAY deeper than that. Take that as you will, but don't start a religious discussion here, send me a PM if you want to talk :P
EDIT: yeah that was the basic theoretical stuff, everyone experiences it differently. i do think ten discusses these topics because he wants to discuss. He he can't really see it from your or someone elses' viewpoint which is important in any debate.

Usually I don't do the first two comments on my own picture, but I didn't realize how long we played.
Right above the team ticket counter ;)

Likewise man!
Unfortunately I don't know many good conquest/rush maps. So if you have any you wanna play next time, let me know.
oh and now u got me in the mood for TDM ><
That's not a bad thing to be in the mood for lol
for ppl like me it is, i find it hard to get into rush afterwards.
and why doesn't anyone play bc2 anymore :'(
same reason nobody buys unsliced bread anymore
haha rofl implying that bf3 is better than bc2? sure
bf3 is broken, simplicity is key

all I meant with going back to their roots is going back to what worked and what bf fans actually want. As it is NOW...they are going backwards...
Battlefield 1942 is legendary. That mixed with Battlegroup = Maybach engines roaring in the distance.
