I dont really like Valentines Day. If you love someone you should show it nonstop Instead of One Special day. Its ok yes but Instead of going out on Valentines day you can surprise the other on a normal day. For me ist just counts more than an expected Gift.
I don't buy into the system either. It's just an excuse for stores to make money :\
Well... valentines day is kinda awesome, chocolate is cheaper xD And if you happen to have a GF it is one of the best days of the year
