Yeah. I lost it in the first mudpit. Picked it back up and ran the rest of the race with it.

It was! I had either just gotten over the last obstacles or just come to them, but either way I was next to home free :D

But I guess now we know why soldiers don't use sneakers instead of boots.
Tho I don't think I would have made it through all that with a naked foot, then again over here a field usually means dry sticks and/or thorns lol.

I tied the lace around my ankle, which theoretically was a good idea, until the shoe came off in the first mud pit.
Then on my right ankle I have rope burns from the lace... kinda painful :P And yeah, they actually had their team (the people who set this up) run the course barefoot to make sure it was safe.
So that is Arcones. My respect for you has just reached an all time high.

Felt like.... a zombie. Mostly because I didn't get much sleep the night before or after, or a nap at all :P
Real warriors run in generic target brand shoes! xD
Also a pun; I guess you could say he almost left his shoe behind! xD

Also I did paintball yesterday! friggin insane!! =D I have some awesome footage, and a cool photo of my team coming! \m/
