HERESY!
The best kind of heresy in fact
Oh emperor, they're gorgeous!
Sooo... why would you build the standard mining astroid instead of the pirate one? I mean, if you don't make the pirate astroid MUCH more expensive, I can't see anyone going for the regular one at all.
So with the scale of this thing, will it be similar to the Death Star as a "unit"?
Yeah, the workshop is more a convenience otion than anything else. It DOES make problems with starting up the game with a mod easier to solve however. And the way you have to change the startup settings in steam when the mod isn't in the workshop is really annoying. In non-steam games I can just create a new shortcut, but in steam games I always have to go over the steam settings.
So while it isn't a necessity, it would definitely be super convenient.
Thanks for the info.
There was another file that got quarantined, but as I said, I can't remember which one it was. So you might want to check with some kind of antivirus program if there is some kind of infection in the files.
Or if you want I could download this file again, check it myself, and tell you to which one the antivirus responds.
No what I meant was that in the vanilla game, when she told you that someone was following her, you could tell her that she should learn how to use a gun. If you talked to her after that though, she would get killed in one of the end missions. The only way to make sure that she would be able to kill her attacker would be to not speak with her after telling her to learn how to use a gun. Even the official patch didn't change anything regarding this.
That's why I'm asking if the unofficial patch finally got rid of this problem.
Well, it got detected right after I installed the patch, it was in the bloodlines directory, and it wasn't there when I installed the vanilla game, so... yeah.
Since Readme files tend to not be executables but text documents, I gathered that this shouldn't be right and that I should inform you about it.
So quick question: Does this patch fix the problem that you can't talk to your ghoul after telling her to learn how to use firearms, or do I still have to forgo any interaction with her unless I'm willing to let her die?
Oh it got triggered after the patching process. The Readme.exe and... something with error, I can't remember what exactly. Both got picked out.
Looks like straight out of V:TM-Redemption.
Hey, I don't know if my systems paranoid, but it detected a potential virus in your patcher. DR/Delphi. You might want to check that.
It would be great if you could somehow switch them of and on while in the game, but who in their right mind would dare to switch of fighter icons and actually play it?
So, how big is this thing really? Is it comparable to the Executor, or to a Driod Control Ship, or what?
Damn that's pretty. So the game crashed just as you destroyed the planet?
Well, keep in mind that this game is over 10 years old now. Developers have to ensure that their games run on all kinds of machines still in use, while at the same time give the best performance that is available and still compatible with the rest of the engine. They often don't have the time to fine tune everything to an extend that modders can achieve after 10 years. (and yes, I know that it wouldn't take 10 years if the modders had a bigger team and wouldn't have to spend at least 6 hours a day to earn money in a day job)
So you basically want to design "Palpatines Eye"?
ERMAGEHRRRD! It's so prettyyyyy! XD
Damn I want this update.
Come on! We need a youtube video showing this glory off!
I see your Snape, and I raise you a Hannibal Lecter! XD
DoW2 had the same effin campaign for each and every race. In Soul Storm you could at least decide for yourself in which order you'd like to "liberate" the regions, but in DoW 2 you couldn't even do that. The only decisions were "which Item do you wanna use on your heros?" and "do you want to do bonus missions?" and while this makes for a rather easy way to tell a story, it is a terribly lazy game design (roleplayers call this "rail roading").
I get a malware warning from my antivirus. It says there's adware name iBryte.Gen7 in this file.
