Aye, it's not "real" at all: I'm using linear velocity instead of applying forces - which will give out the effect you're talking about. I've actually implemented the latter in the beginning, but it just didn't feel as much fun, so even if it's not accurate by any physics standards, the game does work better this way.
Guys if the game crashes or doesn't run at all, please do notify me here or by email by giving me more information: the game generates log files found under Vertigo/log, these are usually enough to indicate what went wrong and how to solve the issue.
This is the first game I deploy and there are many things that could go wrong which I probably haven't foreseen, so if you do want me to help you, please help me out too! :D
That issue was fixed with the 1.1 installer: if you had installed the game to Program Files, you do indeed need administrator privileges to run the game, but if you'd install it to a local folder (such as AppData), you won't.
Looks AMAZING, I'm so downloading this. 9/10!
A question, did you achieve the effect on that molten planet using shaders? If not, could you elaborate please?
Again, fantastic trailer, good job!
