Nevermind. It might be something else, because I remarked smart terrains in your addon in Agroprom, deleted your addon entirely in another test, and it still crashes.

Thank you anyway.

I'm having an error with a mod that has this addon (Roadside Picnic). I think that it's the same error the Guest reported, but since you investigated it, I'd like to confirm it, just in case it's a different thing and not your addon.

My game is crashing when entering Agroprom (it's a fairly new game), but I entered before 1 in-game day before. If I go back to a previous savegame, for the first time I entered Agroprom, there is no crash. But 1 in-game day afterwards it crashes. The last lines in the debug logs are:

DRX DF: csky - army relations restored to -1794
DRX DF: ecolog - army relations restored to 276
DRX DA: Dynamic anomaly field spawned at agr_smart_terrain_4_4_near_1

Curiously, in other tests I did before I went in a frenzy or reloading old and new savegames for troubleshooting, it crashed with:

DRX DF: csky - army relations restored to -1794
DRX DF: ecolog - army relations restored to 276
DRX DA: Dynamic anomaly field spawned at agr_smart_terrain_2_2
DRX DA: Dynamic anomaly field spawned at agr_smart_terrain_6_4
DRX DA: Dynamic anomaly field spawned at agr_smart_terrain_7_5

Different lines for dynamic anomalies, that's what made me thing it could be your addon.

Am I right?
If it's not the same thing the Guest reported, then tell me so I continue to search for causes in other place.

Thank you.

Oh, and great work anyway with all your works, not only this.

Well, the most realsitic things is to try to recover their places after they leave the cover, and of course engage any enemy they come across.

It would be reasonable that squads go on a route to their previous destination, passing in order through the terrains their faction already had (that would simulate an intelligent behavior, not like going directly cross-country without cover).

That may cause interesting shifts in terrain ownerships, as maybe a weaker faction may reach certain terrains before a bigger one, just because their hiding spot is nearer or they have less steps to take.

It may work as some kind of soft reset that lengthens the development of war in zones.

> And do you mean on the epicstalker forums or some other place?

Not a bad idea (epicstalker under CoC). You could edit the main description, first comment and last here with big letters pointing to there while it's in development.

In a more linear thread like a classic forum it would be easier for people to get the latest version. Several times has happened here that people are reporting problems simply because it's easy to miss a newer patch.
You can save some headaches.

Then you could just update the main file here when there are important breakthroughs in development.

It almost seem you're apologizing. Don't do it. You're doing a job for free that we all appreciate, and in top of it, it's coming great. You know better than anybody what things have to go first in your development route, and we know that things don't materialize overnight.

Thanks again for your efforts.

That's related to something I wanted to ask. Every faction is enemy to everyone else. Is it required for the system to work properly?
It could be nice if I could have the vanilla relations, so maintaining the "lore" of the Zone, but having the ability to control your own faction as you designed it.

Thank you for all your work, you're making something very nice.
