Description
For those of you having trouble installing 0.2.3, make sure to watch this. Goes over installation with the mod manager and manually. This is also proof that I'm not crazy when I say that it works for me.
Next time if the file is too big can you please upload somewhere else and post the link in news :) (or the like :D )
Wait...when you say "...if the file is too big...", do you mean the mod file or this amazing video file (wow...this is a bit longer than I thought) ?

I did the same thing you did in this video(for manual instalation,because Mod Manager won't work), and when i try to run the game nothing happens.
But when i put RVE 1.05 mod it starts 1.05 version whit some new structures and that's it.Can you please help me?

Ummmmm.....I haven't heard this one before.
When's the last time that you've cleaned out your gamedata folder? If it has any "trash" in it, it could be messing up the mod. Try going to c:\program files (x86)\steam\steamapps\common\supreme commander 2\gamedata and deleting all of these files:
1) all .original files
2) older versions of whatnot, if they are there
3) any mods that aren't necessary (not necessary = not shown in the video).
Other than this, I'm not exactly sure....maybe try installing manually, if you haven't already?
I installed it that day,clean instalation(no mods) and did like in the video but when i try to start game it doesn't start.But i did about 2-3 days ago put 1.05 scd and 1.05 patch and it started saying its 1.05 version but i have new units and buildings (i gues from 1.1,i know units from 1.05) :) I don't know what is happening but somehow it works
uuuhhhmmm....I'm going to ask some stupid questions, just to get things straight for me, so...just a warning. Not trying to insult your intelligence :)
1) You're sure you have mod support?
2) Did you install in the same order as in the video?
3) Did you try validating your supcom2 files and installing again?
3) Are you sure you have the newest unitport version?
4) Does the version for unitport appear on the main menu (bottom right corner)
5) You have no mods besides the four mentioned?
6) Your supcom2 game is a steam copy?
1) i have modsupport_v7
2) i did install in the same order
3) i'm not sure that i have to validate because i got the game from a friend and it't not original
4) i have UnitPort 0.2.3. ALPHA
5) no other mods.After clean installation of SC2 and DLC game runs fine
6) i think it's a steam copy, from SKIDROW
Hey man if I bother you i'm sorry.I just wanted the game to work.Didn't have problems with 1.05.
Anyway, thanks for help I appreciate very much.As I said now the game works ok with those mixed files so i'm ok with that i guess :)
It's not a problem. Situations like this better prepare me for similar problems in the future..
Two things. First of all, the current version is 0.2.5pre2. That shouldn't make too much of a difference, but just scroll up to download. Second thing, I think you'll want to actually get a copy on steam (I don't know what "skidrow" is, but I'm assuming it's not the same thing as steam.) It doesn't cost a ton, I think $15 - $20 between the game and the DLC. Also, I would try validating if you could. It's solved plenty of problems for me before.
