That's all fine as long as credit is given and whoever sourced my maps to be included in UA is told to seek permission in the future before doing so again. Theft and redistribution of maps and mods is a massive deal in the modding community as a whole. So it is good to see that you ate taking this quite seriously.

I could disagree with that, I included a readme with each map that included not only the authors details but also a small disclosure asking people to contact me if they wanted to include the maps in their mods.

Each map has also been edited to allow it to work with the MOD, so someone knew that these weren't vanilla maps (each map contained custom textures) and included them with the base install of Ultimate Apocalypse.

So it was more a series of mistakes rather a singular one. But like I said. I don't have an issue with the maps being included in UA, just that I wish someone asked first (as the also edited the maps) before adding them to UA.

I would have preferred permission to have been sought first, but I can hardly ask you to remove them from your release at this point. As you may understand (being content creators yourself) having your work taken and redistributed by others (even if readme ect state otherwise) can ruffle your feathers.

Now, I have no problem with these maps being included with your mod (or having them edited to be playable in your mod), I would like to be added to the credits list within your mod acknowledging myself as the creator of above maps.

It's not that we can't take criticism, we can infact; we have entire forums devoted to criticism. Lots of our community members enjoy our changes and we admit, it's not easy to get into; yet somehow it is working with more and more players joining our community each week and they are enjoying our modification, with all the changes we made. Changes are made to improve game play and reduce the some what out of place bits that don't work without tech trees or a in game resource system.

There are a few changes that we've made, and generally it is a vast improvement given the environment that the game is play in now. You can't tell me that the couple of hundred players taking part in our modification each week with an average of about a 1500 different games played each week are wrong can you?
