Neotokyo has been featured a number of times here on ModDB, both in developer banters and in the podcasts. It ranked high in the mod of the year awards two years in a row. There has even been a few articles about it in gaming magazines. I don't know what else could've been done other than maybe releasing it on Steam.
There's usually between 20-30 players online in the evenings (European time).
One problem is that many server owners insist on setting max players to 32 when the game really is balanced for 18. I would also recommend lowering the round time limit. Five minutes is way too much.
I'm sort of wondering what servers he played on. Whenever I see new players I always try to answer their questions and teach them how the game works. Sure, there's the occational yelling at people going the wrong way but most people are very helpful. Maybe the American community is worse than the European (I only play on European servers).
The default controls are kind of messed up atm. I usually put cloak on C and vision on V. Makes perfect sense. No need to look at the keyboard.
Not that it really matters. Their daytime work is not related to Neotokyo in any way. All it shows is that they are skilled at what they're doing. But as far as I know, Tatsur0 and ivy do not work in the industry, even though they clearly should. (At least ivy ;)
Yeah, the cup size wasn't altered, only the skin. I'm still happy though :).
Also, keep up the awesome blog OkeiDo!
