hace unas semanas dijeron que ha habido ciertos atrasos (por situaciones de la vida aparte del mod) y hasta comienzos de abril era fecha posible. Después han dicho que falta poco pero no una fecha concreta. Hay que esperar nomás.

Probablemente sea la RAM, que es un problema conocido. El DOW Soulstorm, por ser juego antiguo de 32 bit, puede usar a lo mucho 2 GB de RAM, sin importar cuanto tengas disponible en el pc, y el mod trae tanto contenido que requiere más que 2GB.

Para arreglarlo, en el Mod Manager apreta en "Toggle LAA", lo que modificará el juego para que pueda usar hasta 4GB de ram. También trata de bajar la calidad gráfica un poco (cosas como cadáveres persistentes, efectos y texturas). Mientras más facciones diferentes metas en una misma partida, lo ideal es bajar más los gráficos para no sobrepasar la RAM. La idea es que vayas balanceando el uso de RAM ahí. Si quieres despreocuparte de ello, tan sólo baja todo al mínimo nomás y punto.

Lamentablemente el límite de RAM es una barrera que sólo se podría quitar si se tuviera el código fuente del juego, el cual no es el caso, así que los modders hacen lo posible por trabajar dentro de esos límites.

PS: Hay facciones que tienen tantas unidades/edificios que usan más RAM que otras (como Emperor's Children y World Eaters, por ejemplo), así que hay que considerar eso igual.

Pretty sure they said somewhere they are gonna improve their economy (though I could be misremembering). I also like the concept but also feel they are kind of weak right now.

They have said that there are too few units from the leagues of votann to make a complete faction. As far as I have read on the replies, the confirmed planned factions post 7.0 are the Ultramarines, the Tyranid Swarm (their own version of the Tyranids), Genestealers (but that is really far away), Custodes (also far away) and the Admec rework.

Si instalaste el Unification Mod correctamente, en multiplayer o partida personalizada simplemente lo escoges del listado de facciones. Si te refieres a la campaña, tienes que bajarte el addon de campaña del Unification Mod (aunque algo leí de que actualmente hay un bug de ellos en la campaña, pero no tengo certeza, no los he usado).

What Kekoulis said, just take into consideration that it will still be limited to 4gb (since it is a 32 bit game), so RAM management is still necessary.

I have the language skills for it, but I have no idea how to do it. Found some files on Unification_Bugfix\Locale that seem to be what I need, but not sure. Could you give me a few pointers? Not making any commitments here, since it all depends on my available time, but I want to atleast evaluate the possibility. Thanks in advance.

EDIT: Well, just to see what happened I tried using notepad++ and it worked. Are all of the necessary files in there? Or are there other locations I'm missing?
