Very dumb Arctic fox. Giving out free and open-source hugs. Also a GoldSRC modder, and a gamedev. (idTech 3, 4, Unity, Unigine)
On a serious note, my assumption is that this happens:
The compilers measure the time elapsed by subtracting the system times between the start and the end of an operation (e.g. FinalFaceLight). Since the CMOS battery is half-working, the system clock tends to reset to about year 2005, and it causes the bug to happen. Cool. B)
huh?
Right above ----- END hlrad -----, there is a time elapsed line.
Looks like the PC went into the past, and finished compiling before time. :P
WOAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
