LOL.... its cuz, once you have SL, you don't really have to anything else. Ive been a member for a decade, and although, i do dabble in other worlds online, I am very much, a happy SL person.
I was a paid member for about 2 months, back in the early 00's (pronounced "ought's") but since then i have had a free account only, and my time there.... basically pays me. Anyway.... I think that almost every comment you see about SL, is more than likely from the heart, and the true feelings of the poster.
SL is VERY good about updating their users, and keeping the platform running smoothly, and I assume all the new accounts, just like mine, are a result of it being posted that SL is NEW to Desura.
We hope that we will be welcomed as we are VERY social.
