Is it possible to just use the new models/textures?

After a few reinstalls I manage to play through but I occasionally get crashes that are this after 30-40 minutes of play.

I even did the weather fix and I have textures set to 75%

Reposting from the blog, not sure if you read both but this bug is a real game stopper for me.

I get crash to desktop when I try to load a quicksave or subsequent saves on loading screen when the bar is at 100%. This happened on the Skadovsk when I'm pretty much done with Zaton 6-8 hours into the game.

I tried lower settings, clearing shader cache but they dont work. The crash report never pops up nor can I read the dump files. I was able to get it one time and it had something to do with access violation with the xrgame.dll and a line with CDialogue.

Not sure how it is relevant but that's what I could get. Only saves that work is the save file when I enter the skadovsk the first time. I dont want to start over again though only to get a crash again probably so this is a game breaker.

I might try reinstalling the whole thing again since other people had success with the whole mod but maybe it is my setup:

I'm running with a core i7 3.33ghz, 6gb of ram, nvidia GTX 460 (1gb of video memory)

Please help, you're my only hope :(
