When you are changing color via cheat sabercolor <num> <color>, it isn't changes forever. It's not my fault, JA reloads saber color on each map change. If you'll set rgb saber color to red, it will be changed back at the next level as well. There is some cheat-protected cvar that stores info about your saber color, but I don't remember it.
"7, no less, no more, the 7th make my lightsaber become a pack of gray and blank squares."
Game couldn't load shaders. If you'll delete .pk3 file of RGBSabers, you will see the same.

Don't run the game from Steam. Run it using starter for your system. Read the readme.

Every saber by itself, no matter is it original or not, is compatible with RGB saber color (if it has light blade at all :D). New hilts mod for usually alters the saber menu. But, only one sabermenu could exist, so every mod saber menu will be suppressed by mine. You can have menu that includes hilts of single mod, or menu with RGB color. It isn't incompatibility, because RGB color by itself works well, menu handy, but not essential thing and could be deleted. You can delete my menu and customize saber color only via cheats. Also nothing stops you from cheating that mod-added saber via "saber blahblah" (no need for menu). You can get it's name by opening .pk3->ext_data->sabers.
About console commands, I was thinking it's obvious (at least I've added examples).
sabercolor X rgb - makes X saber rgb. Only after using this cmd saber blade will become customizable. X could be 1 or 2.
rgb_saberX color - defines the color. X could be 1 or 2, too. The only complicate is what color is. It is string of color blocks (for each blade), preceded by a colon. Each block has 3 numbers, separated by commas. Each number defines red, green or blue channel (exactly that order). Minimum value is 0 and maximum - 255. How it looks: ":red1,green1,blue1:red2,green2,blue2: ... :red8,green8,blue8". You can have up to 8 color blocks (JKA supports sabers with 8 blades). For example, if you take the staff, set the color rgb and enter "rgb_saber1 :0,255,255:127,0,255", then the first blade of the saber will be cyan, and the second - violet. If you'll type "rgb_saber1 :0,255,255", both blades will become cyan, coz if the color for the blade is not specified, game will automatically apply the color of the first blade.

I'm activating telepathic abilities... Failure. I can't help you until you'll provide more detailed description of your problem. Btw, have you read instructions in readme?

Yes, it is compatible. But RGBSabers starts basejka by default, so you should modify .bat or simply load moad via Mods in JKA configuration.
Also RGBSabers SP is compatible with any saber blade reskin mod, yet RGB saber blade will remain standart, because it uses different (my) textures.
Due to the fact that my mod is alone in it's kind, it should be compatible with every mod.
