Not sure if this is working as intended but when playing against multiple AI's with pirates active, the AI's don't ever seem to place bounty on each other. They only place it on the player. And the Neutron Star (Bulk Cruisers) are really strong in their capture ability... When the pirates attack a planet of mine they end up capturing more stuff than they kill... Star Bases, Hangar Defenses, Missle Defenses, Trade Hubs... Just thought I'd mention this... And the Turbo Laser Batteries now cost 1 tacticle slot instead of 1/3 like they used to but it seems like they are still far weaker than the missle/torpedoe batteries...

it doesn't work like that, the ships still have the same number of squadrons but each squadron will only have one fighter in it...

LAA = Large Address Aware (its the program that was included in the version 1.82 update I think... you need to follow the steps that were included somewhere and set it up then just open/run the program in the background on windows while you play SOGE... I've played through games with 500+ planets and 6 players all with regular fleet sizes with no problems except that the fighters get a bit laggy if I let the AI build up too much... large fleet sizes will cause the game to lag but thats it...

I made a map in galaxy forge that has several hundred "planets" even though alot of them are dust clouds that I use to link the various solar systems... actual "planets is prolly around 200 with most being gas giants and uninteresting rocky planets since actual class M planets should be rare.. and my map never crashes when I use the LAA...

I also have a map that I made in galaxy forge, it's a big map but unique in that I actually built solar systems and linked everything in each system with phase lanes and to link the solar systems together I used dust clouds that I put at the outer edges of each solar system. You can't fly to any of the stars since I don't like the idea of having to fly to the center of a solar system in order to leave the solar system... it's backwards in my opinion...

Hey, I'm wondering if it would be possible to get a mod that allows you to build both types of your supercaps? I DO NOT want to be able to build a bunch of / unlimited amount of them as this has been previously stated would be broken and over powered. I just really want to be able to have the praetor class and the mandator class at the same time.

I can't seem to figure it out... I can't get anything to capture to spawn in the ship graveyards unless I use the default template... and then it's always a few acclimators, dreadaughts and centax ships... all the VSD1s and Venators are militia owned and non captureable and shooting at me...

What ever happened to the Bulk cruisers for the rebel alliance? They were a pretty common ship for that period of time and they used quite a few of them?

Try building MC Heavy Carriers, They are as strong if not a bit stronger than Tector Class star destroyers...

you need to click on your class 3 spacedock and then click on the build supercap ability... you cannot build a super capital ship the same way you build other ships...

Well for anyone who is interested, I figured out what is causing maps made in galaxy forge to break and stop working in 1.82... (It is somehow related to the map editor crashing) which it has always done... however before this was not a huge problem as long as you saved your work frequently... What happens now is that whenever the map editor crashes is also causes your most recent saves to also not work... I was up to auto save # 9 and this happened to me... I had to go all the way back to auto save # 2 in order to get to a point where the map would work, everything after that was unsaveable... (I have no idea why it's like this but that's what happened)

Update... I just made a new small map using the galaxy forge and the new just made map works in V 1.82... I'm going to tinker around with my old maps and try to see if I can get them working, if I figure out what is causing the old maps to not work I will post it...

Looked through the comments and couldn't find an answer to this... I made a number of custom SOGE maps that worked fine with the 1.8 version but I am unable to play them with the 1.82 version. When I go to start a game on the menu screen, after selecting the map under "galaxy forge maps" it doesn't give me the option to "play" the map. The play button is grayed out and no info except a red "String Not Found" is displayed about the map in the section above.... is anyone able to tell me what I need to do to get my custom maps to load in V 1.82?
