No, that rifles produced and bought from Britain during Russo-Turkish War (1877-78), But they produced for Ottoman army and they have serial number written in Ottoman Turkish.

There are two types of Turkish Peabody Martini. This is Type A, which have safety and no bayonet lug, so fitted for socket bayonet.
