I eagerly started to search my bottles. Finally I found one which amplifies my hearing. I clamed mym ind and finally i oculd even hear their breathing. First-Lieutenant the gun position is over there! I pointed.
„I hope your right Geralt... So this is what we do! Colonel Hughes you'll outflank them with one platoon. Sir yes sir! - burst out loud from the colonel the formal answer.
The platoon with the lead of Hughes slowly started to advance and when they would finally reach their objective another hidden position fired. A second platoon dispatched to take this new position ran into a third, and attempts to deal with this met with fire from a fourth position. The success of the MLR in blocking the movement meant that, after four hours, we were forced to give up on attempts to move any further inland.... They gained time, but in the end their time has come as the reinforcements have arrived. An M4 Sherman marched ahed of us and took out all those stealthy roaches. As most of the Wermacht perished, others still were chose to live in disgrace by surrendering their stations. The day is ours, but the battle is far from over...”
