I think so, too.
But than he is a mutant and mutants can´t be forgiven. They must be destroyed in the holy fires of the inquisition.

I think the Inqies have a similar stance on the run of the mill mutant as they do on heretics. 'Oh well, its not their fualt but they're ******* in our gene pool so we're thrwoing them out.'
