Besides, without Mecha and other anime genre like Post-Cyberpunk (i.e. Ghost in the Shell), the Tau wouldn't exist.

and if Eva didn't exist there would be no need for Tau! No one likes Tau except for weaboos and communists :D:D:D
Well other than weeaboos and commies, snipers are a fan of Tau too.
Not an EVA not even close, EVAS use melee so much Tau would not be comfertable piloting one. All likelyness, theyd have no where to go etheir. The pilots are so FUBAR the imperium would deem em Chaos ridden, their to unpredictable for the Taus liking, iorny have it, the EVAS would likely be serving with the forces of Chaos, they are ALREADY insane.
I always thought that the Wraithlord looked like an EVA. Seems justified that EVAs would be just as f**ked up as Chaos since they were originally Angels (alien monsters) that tried to kill us.
On a side note, did you guys ever watch Gundam Seed (a.k.a mutated emo version of the original Gundam)?
This is clearly based on Gundam, considering the fact, it looks NOTHING like an EVA, and "Freedom" battlesuit, Freedom being a Gundam from Gundam Seed. Where the hell did you get EVA from!?
