Most likely a sort of abhuman. According to the Lexicanum, they are completely resistant to everything warp-related, which of course makes them a great guard for the body of Lion El'Johnson.
I'm pretty sure they're not human, actually. Some kind of spiritual entity, I think, given the stuff from Descent of Angels and all that. That's just what I think, of course.
