Also several BL books have stated that he has worn 'many faces' so I guess that means he can chose what others see him as due to his psykic powers.
Plus hes been around for several thousand years, minimum. He must have learnt how to take care of himself and moisturise.
There is also a rumour that his true form is like the current one [skeletal corpse] and Horus saw it for a second when he beat the crap out of the Big E. Thus horrifying Horus and adding to his guilt when he was about to be mindfucked by the Emprah.
The Emperor is really powerful and old so whats stopping him from making a psychic illusion of a gold glowing giant right?
