Now only if this was applied to Star Wars Rebels then everyone would see the Empire is not some push over faction like Disney makes them out to be in that show. Even with Grand Admiral Thrawn it's like wtf the Empire just bends over and takes it. Sorry for the Star Wars rant but it just ****** me off anyways FOR THE EMPEROR!.
Always had a feeling Disney would ruin the franchise by making it "kid-friendly". They want to appeal to a broader audience so they streamline (aka dumb down) the content so they can get more money. Disney is no different from Electronic Arts or Bethesda. Not to mention the social justice they are pushing that makes the politics of George's prequels look good in comparison (diverse actors for the sake of diversity, white male villains, etc). Chris Weitz even went on to compare Donald Trump and his supporters to the Empire/First Order.
