Don't the chapters recycle the armor of the fallen space marines? Please correct me if they don't. Nice picture by the way.

I think they usually do. I reckon there's a post-it note on the other side saying "missed a bit".

Well, it could have been a grave erected by some guardsmen to honor a fallen Space Marine.

This pic is related to the Iron Cage battle between Imperial Fists and Iron Warriors on the world of Sebastus IV after the battle of Terra. Iron Warriors prepared a trap, and Imperial Fists sustained terrible loses. But after a month of fighting Ultramarines joined the battle, rescued Fists from total destruction and helped to drive Iron Warriors off the world. Even so, Perturabo made it impossible for Imperial Fist to grab hundreds of their dead and injured comrades.

The Iron Cage would have been a bigger desaster if it wasnt for the Ultramarines who saved Dorn`s ***.... Perturabo`s superiority in siege warfare shows itself here :3

Yep, Perturabo smashed Dorn's lego strongholds on Terra, while Dorn failed to destroy Perturabo's Eternal Fortress himself.

There's a big difference between making a giant maze cathedral and an actual siege.

It is, but both claimed to be siege masters on attack and on defense. And Dorn failed in both situations.

Peruraburo was a coward who wouldn't give his brother the honor of a hand to hand fight.

Both didn't care about hand to hand combat. It was a question of "whose balls are stronger in siege warfare". Dorn searched for such combat and actually he got what he got.
