Stormhawks boast impressive firepower, including twin Assault cannons, Icarus stormcannon or Lascannon, twin heavy bolters, Typhoon missile launchers, or skyhammer missile launcher, and a infernum halo launcher.
The infernum Halo launcher is a type of flare discharger used for self-defense on stormhawk Interceptors. The golden "halo's"created by the discharger are a distinctive visual trait of the gunship and announce their presence.
