To be honest there hasn't been any news about DoW 3 for some months now, during that timespan they could have taken feedback from players and improved. But we'll see once they release something new for us to see. If it's still exactly the same i will still buy it, but either way i will be a bit disappointed.

I have seen some gameplay from this game and it looks and feels almost exactly like the tabletop experience, only that everything is in 3D. My only complaint about the game is that the animations are a bit wonky and kind of tame, but i'm sure they're going to improve them over time. Also that unexpected knight made my soul happy.
