well i rly agree with that. sometimes guardsmen dont get the credit they deserves.
And that is why avarage lifespan of Guardsmen is estimated 5 seconds.
Well that's when they're in battle.

There's something odd about this picture, it seems like Imperial Guard or atleast guardsmen fighting Tyranids(Genestealers, perhaps one of the first alien wars) but there are Chaos marks in the back? or maybe that was before the Horus Heresy and those marks were commen standards?
