Description
So with 8th eddition announced GW have put up a new site for it and these two pictures were on the site under the build and paint sections and were then removed not long after but I grabbed them and saved them, so speculate away.
I doubt we'll be getting a new sculpt for vanilla marines, the current Tactical and Devastor Marine boxes are still pretty new.
Though the proportions of the Marines on the table here do seem slightly different. More realistic, less stunted. I've noticed this trend already in the newer Marine sculpts and especially the new Deathwatch models.
But then again, it could just be the camera angle. Who knows.
well the pauldrons are definitely smaller, the arms and legs seem to have different details on them, the boltguns are noticeably longer, and they seem taller. it was rumoured that guilliman was going to make new space marines and it seems they have done just that
they also have new helmets, the design is shown in the 8th Edition promo shot they have on their Facebook page and in the trailer video.
well, half of the design anyway, since the other half is a Nurgle-corrupted older pattern one, but you get the idea.
