The Purge.
They hate life in all its forms and have fought both the Imperium and a number of xeno races for 3000 years, as they are attempting to exterminate all forms of life in the galaxy.
O' rly? Well, good luck with that...
so, wait, why dont they just kill themselves if they hate life?
They apparently didn't think about what would happen afterwards.
I don't think they are really living things anymore....
They worship Nurgle, so thats debateable.
