best anti daemon weapon that ever was, these guys+grey knights+inquisitorial stormtroopers can kick the *** of all daemon invasion. i wonder why they doesnt use them often
ancient, now very rare technology argument?
I think it's mainly because the mechanicus doesn't really trust or give away their toys of war to the Inquisition or any other organization very often + the kastelan robots constanly have to be reprogrammed by a legio cybernetica datasmith in battle so they don't walk right to their death.
so basically they are semi autonomous bipedal war bots
