That is actually an awesome idea for a Guardsman division.
Imperial Highlanders, close quarters divisions charging in with power broadswords while they have pipebags playing among their fire support.
Or they could just, you know, use las-pipebags, which has the equivalent power of 5 lasguns. :T
Didn't Gaunts Ghost have pipes? Or so I read that somewhere. I should probably get down to reading GG.
The pipes of Tanith, yes they did.
Caledonian headhunters are already there.
